Consumer Guide To Purchasing The Best Juicer
Why Is Juicing Beneficial To Your Health?
Juicing is simply extracting nutrients in a form of a liquid from fruits and vegetables. So why is juicing better than eating them plain? Majority of the good stuff actually gets thrown away! Things like skins, seeds can be dense in nutrients.
Why wouldn’t you want to make your own fresh juice daily? Do you know what exactly goes into your store bought juice? The sugars, preservatives and coloring can often take this beverage that you once thought was healthy and make it worse than any soda! Be in control of what you drink!
Know exactly what ingredients are in your glass of juice.
Best Juicer Recommendations
Breville 800JEXL Centrifugal Juice Fountain Elite (98/100)
Breville 800JEXL juicer has been a consumer favorite centrifugal juicer for years. Just look at the popular online retailer Amazon.com, the 800JEXL tops the charts with over 900 consumer reviews. Not just any reviews, this popular juicer has received on average a 4.6 out of 5 rating by the same people who have purchased and used it.
Why is the 800JEXL so well received? The unit combines all features that a professional juicer would like, and is easy enough to be used by a complete beginner. It looks great on the kitchen counter, in my opinion one of the best looking juicers. It generates very little heat when juicing, which is important to avoid boiling out the good enzymes while juicing. Has a fairly large feeding chute to allow you juicing of apple sized fruits without having to cut in pieces.
That is just a few of the very many features and benefits of buying this particular juicer. Read my entire Breville 800JEXL review to find out why this appliance has earned the title “Rolls Royce of juicers”.
Breville BJS600XL Masticating Juicer (96/100)
Breville BJS600XL is my favorite, and clearly one of the best masticating juicers you could get without paying ridiculous prices for commercial masticating juicers. Are you planning to start living a healthier lifestyle and need a masticating juicer that will have no issue juicing leafy greens such as kale and spinach, the BJS600XL would be a perfect juicer for that. The BJS600XL is considered a “slow” masticating juicer, will keep a lot more fiber than its centrifugal counterpart while preventing excessive frothing.
This “slow” masticating juicer will take few minutes longer to make juice, but in return you get a more nutritious juice as it will extract the most nutrients out of your ingredients. So what are you waiting for? Find out what great features Breville has in their bag with this juicer by reading my full Breville BJS600XL juicer review!
Omega J8006, Commercial Masticating Juicer (93/100)
Omega J8006 machine is masticating style juicer. While a typical juicing machine will process its ingredients at speeds varying from 1,000 to 20,000 rpm. J8006 has an operating speed of roughly 80 rpm, due to slower speeds it is known as the low speed juicer. What are the benefits when using a masticating juicer?
When processing ingredients at a slower speed, it does a better job at maintaining the enzymes, and prevents oxidation of the juice. In other words, the juice you just made has a much longer life, and can be stored for longer period of time. The J8006 juicer uses a “dual stage process”, which is a very interesting technique, come in and read our full review to find out what makes it unique.
Cuisinart CJE-1000 Centrifugal Juicer (88/100)
Cuisinart for me has always been about affordable and quality product. They have gained their reputation from manufacturing what some might consider some of the best food processors to be available on the market to this very day. That very high standard in kitchen appliances also runs in their juicer machine line.
The Cuisinart CJE-1000 is an affordable and efficient machine that keeps up with the likes of Breville and Omega juicers. One of my favorite things about this very juice is how quiet it is. Is this juicer worth the $150 price tag? Just come in and read my full review!

Tribest CS-1000 Citristar Citrus Juicer (82/100)
Usually I avoid citrus style juicers for reasons of very limited usability. But by many requests of our visitors only interested in an inexpensive machine they can use to make their breakfast orange juice with, I started buying and testing most popular citrus juicers. After testing about 6 different brands, I hate to say that I actually enjoyed this little citrus juicer. It has some really neat features that differentiates itself from the other citrus juicers. This one might just be the best citrus juicer for under $60.
8 Factors To Consider Before Buying A Juicer
Picking a juicer for your needs is not as simple as just picking out the most expensive, or the most sleek-looking juicer of the selection. Sure, price, and aesthetic design are factors to ultimately choosing your very own juicer; however, they are only some of the many traits of a juicer to consider when looking for the right juicer. Only quite a few things are more satisfying than obtaining the perfect juicer for you. This is why below, are 8 of the most fundamental aspects of juicers you need to mull over picking out the right one.
1. Practical Power—how strong should the juicer be to be able to process all of my fruits and veggies?
Juicers have one practical goal: to be able to juice any and every fruit and/or vegetable its users wishes to be juiced. This goal may be achieved, if and only if the juicer has a lot of juicing power. A juicer may be considered powerful if it has, first and foremost, a strong motor (which usually uses quite a bit of wattage; strong slicing blades, and strong augers, the drilling devices used in most juicers. Should your prospective juicer have strong practical hardware, then it would be a great potential juicer indeed.
2. Size does matter.
Bulky appliances have never had great reputations, and juicers are not exceptions to this rule. Why would you want a bulky, multi-pieced, complicated juicer when you can easily get a minimalistic model with more practical and useful features than a Rube Goldbergian juicer? No need for a mammoth motor, or a fully furnished feed tube. All you really require is a decently sized pulp container, which stores all the juice after it’s been processed, and your size issues are all solved.
3. Aesthetic design benefits a juicer more than it does the user—in a good way.
You have got to face the hard truth: anything that looks and feels amazing will more often than not end up being bought over the simple-looking alternative. It doesn’t hurt a juicer’s chances to look good, while also providing better quality. Most of the time this fundamental aspect can be trumped by its two preceding ones; but there are outlying juicers out there which look and feel great, while at the same time perform at nothing more than premier qualities. Plus, if you are going to use your juicer for public eyes to see, a sleek-looking and feeling juicer is eye candy.
4. Never compromise a juicer’s safety over its other features.
The popular statement “safety first” has never proven to be mistaken yet. Juicers have tendencies of being dangerous pieces of hardware, in so many different ways. You may have a beautiful juicer, but as soon as it turns on it creates an unfortunate accident or two. Always make sure your potential juicer prioritizes safety, only next to productivity; and also, do your part in staying safe when using a juicer.
5. If the juicer cleans after itself, it is a great prospect.
Juicers have evolved from the simple reamer juicers, to the more complex electricity-powered juicers. Juicer manufacturers have made advances and specification changes to the juicers and have made them less messy and a lot tidier. Why go through the manual cleaning up after a juicer has made your juice, when it can automatically do it by itself, for itself? Look for this feature in your potential juicer and don’t take “unavailable feature” for an answer.
6. Do not be fooled by highly priced juicers; they are not always better than budget juicers.
Sometimes, quality juicers are expensive; but you do not have to spend hundreds of dollars to find quality juicers with all the aforementioned aspects and features included. These outrageously priced juicers contain so many extra unnecessary features to a juicer. Spending ridiculous amounts of money over a juicer is, well ridiculous, when all a quality juicer should be able to provide you with is quality juicing.
7. Warranty is also a considerable factor to take note of when looking for a juicer.
Warranties vary, just as the products they are warrantying vary. Make sure your prospective juicer’s warranty meets your preferences. Year or multiple-year warranties are the ideal lengths of how long warranties should last. Sometimes, there are lifetime warranties for different kinds of products, juicers included; make sure to prioritize these rare juicer brands and models with such warranties.
8. Juicers make healthy drinks; your potential juicer should maximize a fruit or vegetable’s healthy, pulpy, output.
This aspect of a juicer is something both you and your juicer should accomplish together. For your part, pick the fruits and vegetables which give out the most healthy vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, and nutrition when juiced. For the juicer’s part, it should be able to juice the fruits and vegetables in the most efficient way possible, preserving as much of the nutritious ingredients of the fruits and vegetables as possible. This is a challenge for the juicer which would easily be solved, if you, the user, chose the right juicer.
More than 95% of the enzymes & vitamins the body needs are present in the juice of raw vegetables & fruits. When you take this raw juice, highly-concentrated enzymes, minerals and vitamins rapidly flows into your bloodstream. So what a better way to enjoy all the benefits of these fruits; than juicing? You can keep your children healthy by extracting […]
